In South Korea, quantum cryptography technology will be put into operation in order to ensure complete security of fourth and fifth generation mobile networks.
Specialists of the mobile operator SK Telecom, which is located in South Korea, have planned to start using quantum cryptography technology to ensure the full security of their mobile 4G and 5G networks.
Reportedly, this decision will come into force in April. SK Telecom told about the completion of a test drive of a quantum random number generator from ID Quantique (Switzerland) at the 5G subscriber identification center to prevent hacking attempts and ensure quantum security.
