how to Take Screenshot on Windows

There are several ways to take a screenshot on a Windows computer.

  1. Press the “Print Screen” key (often abbreviated as “PrtScn” or “PrtSc”) on your keyboard. This will capture an image of your entire screen. The screenshot will be saved to the clipboard, so you can paste it into an image editing program (such as Paint) and save it.
  2. To capture just the active window press Alt + Print Screen keys on your keyboard. It will capture the active window or the program window that you are currently using.
  3. If you are using Windows 8 or later version, Windows has a built-in tool called “Snipping Tool” which allows you to capture a specific part of your screen. You can open it by searching for “Snipping Tool” in the start menu, or by pressing the Windows key + Shift + S
  4. Windows also has a built-in snipping tool that’s part of the Game Bar, which you can use by pressing the Windows key + G and then clicking the camera icon. This will allow you to capture screenshots in games and other full-screen programs.

Once the screenshot is captured, you will be able to save it, share it or use it as needed.
