There will be no oil, no Radha will dance.”
Most of us have heard this saying, the background of which is that Radha, according to Hindu mythology, was the lover of Shri Ram Krishna, who was later made a goddess. Radha used to dance with Shri Ram on the banks of Ganga and Radha’s dance was unique from all other gopis.
Regarding this proverb, Dr. Sharif Ahmad Qureshi, in his book “Proverbs and their anecdotal background” has described the story of Krishna ji and Radha as follows: He asked Radha to dance. Radha apologized, but Krishna continued to insist on dancing. When Radha ji realized that Krishna ji is not a believer in any way, he said to Krishna ji, OK! I will dance, you first light the nine-man sesame lamp. Because I’m not like that, I’m your girlfriend. So I have some status. Krishnaji became silent saying that there will be no oil, no Radha will dance.
In those days it was impossible to get enough oil. Thus, this proverb became a proverb and wherever such strict conditions are imposed for doing something that it seems impossible to fulfill, then this proverb is remembered by all.
We are reminded of the adage that all the opposition parties and their leaders are working tirelessly to bring down the government and are working day and night to achieve their goal. And this is not the first attempt by the opposition. Even before this, in the last three years, it has tried several times to remove Imran Khan from the post of Prime Minister. Besides, she has spent all her energies against the chairman of the senate but she has not succeeded in the senate and so far no one has been able to get the prime minister. It is as if the Prime Minister has not been seated.
On the other hand, there is the Prime Minister who is sometimes going there wearing a vest on shalwar kameez and sometimes going there. At the same time, they are openly challenging the opposition in every meeting and meeting to do what they have to do and will not leave them as long as they are alive. And now he has said that if he leaves the PM’s chair and comes out, it will be even more dangerous. Because now he is sitting comfortably in his office and watching opposition shows on TV.
There is a third class between the government and the opposition, commonly known as the people, who have no relatives in the government or in the opposition. They have been watching this cat-and-mouse game since Pakistan was formed. This is the class that does not need oil and has no interest in Radha’s dance. They are just wandering around in search of solutions to their petty problems and are being torn between the government and the opposition. Because the allegations of the government and the opposition against each other will never be proved and they will not be harmed.
Many governments have come and gone in this game of true lies, but the fate of the people who are only the apple of our eye on election days and later disregarding it as rubbish has not changed. I am thrown.
What can the people say that every time they come to their words like a weeping lover and then the earth shakes with the same slogans of “Aaye hi aaye”. Nowadays, it is time for local government elections, so all our leaders, whether in government or in opposition, are among the people and no funeral, prayer and marriage is without their presence. And then there’s the cameraman in the audience, as if he were a true witness to the tragedy.
Nowadays, our opposition is working diligently to collect new oil to bring down the Prime Minister and to alleviate the sufferings of the people, he has also remembered his years old donations. Their forgotten memories are refreshed. Visitors have no sense of the past, and there is no sign of suspicion on the forehead of the recipient. And how am I? Because they are doing all this for the betterment of the country and the people.
In all of this game, the king’s price has gone up more than the king’s, and they are calling each atom to meet him and assess his weight and the courage of those in front of him, and they will surely make the final decision in his favor. In the eyes of which they will be the most valuable and the price is not only in rupees, it has other accessories. Dinner and lunch are in full swing. The people are watching the lives and deaths of all of them and are waiting for the decision of their destiny, which has not happened till today and there are no traces of it in the near future.
The first thing in this game of hide and seek is that it will be almost impossible for the opposition to get new oil, because for the opposition parties to agree on a single point and then stick to it is like saying day to night. And this has happened many times. What more can be expected when the methodology of all parties cannot be agreed upon.
The other thing is that even if these parties can shoot an arrow temporarily, how many days or hours will they be able to work together on any agenda? Because there is a difference between heaven and earth in their views and in the past they have not said anything to each other. Therefore, whether the government comes to power or the opposition, for the people it will be nothing but a four-day moonlight and then a dark night.
The ruling party has also given the task of appeasing its angry but influential friends and the opposition is doing its utmost to get the angry friends of the government to join it and some to vote against the incumbent Prime Minister in exchange for lucrative positions in the next government. Are engaged in trying to prepare. In this context, everyone is the star in each other’s eyes.
It is not wrong that our Prime Minister has been the captain of the government for three and a half years but it is a pity that even today he has not been able to get out of the world of elders like Mulla Jutt and Noori Nat. Seem to give. The truth is that none of them have a problem, all five fingers are in the ghee and the head is in the pan. While the people are getting crushed in the mill of increasing problems with each passing day. Sometimes we look here, sometimes here.
Despite all this, election day is near. We will see that we have forgotten everything and then there will be the same slogans and the same bhangras and we will stand holding each other’s necks to bring these same people to the assembly. And some testimonies are also a feature of our election campaign, thanks to which our leaders emerge more than ever and add to their profile how many lives we have sacrificed for the sake of democracy and the people.
