Ukraine presents captured Russian soldiers to media

For the second time in a week, Ukraine’s intelligence has released to the media Russian soldiers captured during the war.

According to the International News Agency, it has been 12 days since Russia invaded Ukraine, during which Russia has occupied two Ukrainian cities and is constantly bombing.

Ukraine has also claimed strong resistance, saying that 12,000 Russian troops had been killed and dozens captured alive, although independent sources could not confirm this.
The Ukrainian military called a press conference to substantiate its claims, which included 10 Russian soldiers captured during the war.

The Russian soldiers were brought in blindfolded and walking in a line with both hands on each other’s shoulders.

The soldiers were blindfolded in front of the media. All the soldiers were young and in uniform, some of them terrified.

This is the second time in a week that Ukraine has held an identification parade of detained Russian soldiers in front of the media, aimed at convincing them that prisoners of war are being treated in accordance with international law.
