The hard work and research of an Indian farmer since 2014 has paid off and he has succeeded in building a motorbike to pluck fruit from tall trees.
The international news agency Reuters interviewed a unique-minded farmer in Mangalore, Karnataka, India, who made the difficult task of climbing tall trees and picking fruits easier.

In a farmer’s field called Gunipati Bhat, there are 60-70 feet tall coconut and sorghum trees on which he has prepared a motorbike with his engineer friend.
The farmer said that now he is old and he cannot climb tall trees and the pockets of expensive laborers do not allow it. The idea of making a motorcycle came to the fore which is the mother of invention.

Gunipati Bhatt enlisted the help of an engineer friend. Both have been working on it since 2014. After many failed experiments and spending Rs 4 million, they were ready to make a motorcycle.
He has been using this motorcycle successfully for two years now. Initially other farmers objected that this motorcycle would be useless in the rains but the monsoon passed well.
