The fire affected Internet supplies in Iran

disrupted internet supplies.

Ministry spokesman Mehdi Salem wrote on Twitter that the fire in the telecommunications building was caused by a faulty electrical connection, but immediately activated the backup system to provide uninterrupted internet access.

According to the Ministry of Information, in addition to Tehran, the nearby city of Karaj has also been affected.
It should be noted that citizens in Iran face difficulties in using the free internet. Last month, the parliament passed a law in the house and approved to give full control of the internet to the government.
