What do you do nowadays? ”I asked my close friend Bhatti formally.
“Teaches online tuition.”
“What?” I looked at Bhatti in surprise who was proudly telling me about his younger brother.
I was also surprised that Faizan, who was also my friend, had a supply in his own graduation. To my surprise, I had a detailed meeting with Faizan and the details that came out were horrible. Not only Faizan but hundreds of students through various groups are engaged in questioning the quality of the degree by engaging in this work for their own temporary benefit. but how? Let me tell you
Faizan, who apparently teaches tuition, is in fact part of a foreign educational WhatsApp group through Jagaar. Grabs assignments of foreign students in dollars and seals them in Pakistani educational groups in rupees and thus earns a huge amount as commission. In addition, instead of foreign students, it also conducts examinations and other academic activities through their passwords. In fact, the student has to do it himself, but the poor, destitute and rich students get the services of others under the guise of online education system and thus they are indulging themselves.
According to an authoritative mufti of Jamia Ashrafia, this earning is not halal according to sharia.
It is a bitter truth that the online education system has become a compulsion because of Corona. Books eBooks, Project Files Google Classroom, Whiteboard Tablet Screen and Classroom Experience have filled the space of online platforms. This system has made the educational journey possible even in the most difficult times without harming the academic career of the students. It is a kind of flexible system. For example, students who understand late can learn at their own pace by watching videos over and over again. Those who have a good memory can save time and use it for other useful purposes. In addition, the system is a source of low cost and time savings. But what you are doing today is the fate of the useless and job-stealing students due to the shortcomings of this system. Moreover, this education system is not as effective as at least in Pakistan. Because:
Not everyone in Pakistan has access to the internet, especially for students living in our villages. Staying connected to the internet is not easy. Power supply to our villages is not always possible. The Internet is either not available or is so slow that only mobile signals are available. What to say about the provision of internet.
Despite all our expertise in the field of information technology, we are still behind the world in this field. Online unavailability of all courses is also a major issue.
Our education system is already so rotten that exam papers are readily available on social media even before exams but students still fail. And now thanks to the online education system, students will not get 1100 marks out of 1100 out of the reach of teachers. In this education system, our students are getting degrees but not education.
There is a need for education experts to come together for the survival of future generations and come up with an acceptable solution to this problem so that corona can be avoided and we can move from online education system to traditional education system. Otherwise the online education system will destroy our already rotten educational structure.
