Physical harm to women from high heels

High heels have become fashionable for women but the price is paid for the harmful effects on the body.

1) Waist

The first disadvantage is the unbalanced support the body receives. This causes the body weight to be unevenly distributed on the feet, which can lead to a feeling of discomfort, inflammation and pain in the lower back.
2) Muscles

The second damage is to the shin muscles. It can also cause swelling and severe pain. Spending most of the day wearing high heels can cause pain in the feet, toes, soles and heels.

3) Ankle can also be broken:

It is common for people to bend their legs while walking, which causes a sharp wave of pain in the ankles called ankle sprains. However, the case of women wearing heels is different. Not only the pain but also the ankle bone can be broken if the foot bends in the same way while walking.

4) Curve in the spine more than usual.

High heels cause more spinal deformities in the spine. The higher the heel, the more bent the lumbar spine is, which is detrimental to both the upper and lower extremities.

5) The veins may rupture

High heels also clog blood vessels, which can interfere with blood flow. In severe cases, these veins may rupture. The worst damage to a high heel is the hammer toe. It is a condition in which the toe bends in the middle, which affects the shin, blood vessels and the shape of the foot to a dangerous extent.

6) Arthritis

High heels also affect the hard elastic ligaments in your joints. Wearing heels changes the position of the thighs, which affects the knee bones. This condition can also cause osteoarthritis.
