Cassandra Smith, a 20-year-old woman living in McCann, USA, has not worn any shoes, sandals or slippers for the past three years and has been walking barefoot in and out of the house. Despite this, she walks barefoot and now considers herself very confident and healthy.
Cassandra has not been fond of wearing shoes since she was a boy and she used to wear only two straps of sandals at school with all sorts of excuses. Feeling we have ‘Run out of gas’ emotionally.
Now Cassandra doesn’t have any shoes or slippers on her feet wherever she goes while she says that this habit of walking barefoot not only makes me feel very light but also spiritually. I feel connected to the earth. Also, the skin on my feet is healthy and there is no risk of infection.
People are shocked to see Cassandra’s strange behavior. Once when she was going to the store, a mother saw Cassandra barefoot and told her child to stay away from her. However, she says that if she got a good job. She will consider wearing shoes.
According to Cassandra, the skin of her soles has hardened due to constant barefoot walking and during this time her foot fell on a needle which caused her a lot of pain. On another occasion, a piece of glass got stuck in her leg but now she likes to walk barefoot in any situation.
Cassandra says that some people think that they have lost their shoes or they are suffering from some disease in which they have to stay barefoot but their habit of barefoot has strengthened their security system and now they are barefoot. They have printed small cards explaining the reason for being on foot and whoever asks them the reason for being barefoot, they hand over these cards to him. Cassander did not wear shoes at her wedding and is now going to New York where she will hike in the mountains with her husband on a mountain range.
