Former Kazakh security chief arrested for treason
According to Arab media, Kazakhstan’s intelligence agency said in a statement that the former head of the intelligence agency, Karim Massimov, had been arrested on charges of treason. The former security chief was fired following the ongoing violence in the country.
According to the statement, an investigation has been launched into allegations of treason against the former security chief.
