Leading Pakistani actress Sajjal Ali has said that she refused to act in a Hollywood movie because of the “bold” scene.
In a recent interview, Sajjal Ali said that he was offered a lead role in a Hollywood film but he turned it down because it was supposed to feature a bold scene.
Sajjal Ali said that if an artist is lucky, he is offered more international work. But regardless, I will never give up on my industry. International work came to me because all these filmmakers had seen my work in Pakistan and when I go abroad I want to contribute to my industry through my work.
By the way, Sajal Ali is working in Jaime Goldsmith’s film ‘What Love Got To Do With It’. However, Sajjal said that he was offered the lead role in another Hollywood film which had a good story but there was a bold scene in this film.
“I knew I couldn’t do it,” she said. Although you could use body double for this job, people in my country would associate this scene with me and I did not want to disappoint them like this. So he refused to act in the film.
