A plane had to land on a road in the city of Isfahan due to a malfunction in Iran.
According to Iran’s state-run news agency, a private airliner flying from Mashhad had to make an emergency landing on a road in Isfahan due to a malfunction. Five passengers were slightly injured in the emergency landing.
There were 119 passengers on board. After the emergency landing, passengers and crew members were evacuated with the help of escalators.
In 2020, an Iranian plane had to land on the road outside the airport due to a malfunction. According to some reports, the planes owned by Iranian airlines have become obsolete and spare parts could not be purchased due to international sanctions.
