A spokesman for the Saudi-led Arab League said Saudi forces had destroyed a Houthi drone before it could reach its target. The drone crash happened early this morning.
The Houthis carried out the drone strike from Yemen. Houthi drones have previously been used to target various parts of Saudi Arabia.
A spokesman for the Arab League said that Saudi forces had all the operational options to protect Saudi citizens.
