Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed has said that there should be rule of law in the society and law alone should be the biggest weapon in Pakistan.
The Islamabad Bar organized a Thanksgiving celebration at the start of construction of the Lawyers Complex in Islamabad. Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed in his address to the bar after hoisting the flag said that Allah will make it become a judicial complex as soon as possible. Becoming a Judicial Complex will give lawyers a better environment and better preparation for the case.
He said that there is no difference between a lawyer and a judge. The job of the judge and the lawyer is the same. The job of the lawyer is to follow the case and the job of the judge is to decide the case. Both believe in the constitution and the independence of the judiciary. I’m basically a lawyer, just sitting on the other side of the bench. My return will be with you. It is the duty of the Supreme Court to ensure the protection of the fundamental rights of the people.
He said that you have some problems, what is their nature, I do not know, but a lot of issues have been dealt with and if I am in a position to take action, I will definitely take.
