That’s when nature is kind. An American man went to a small store to buy chocolates and milk for his children and when he returned, he had won one million dollars, or 170 million Pakistani rupees.
Dennis Willowy of Northchesterfield was walking out of the store with chocolates and milk when he bought a scratch lottery card. He played the card right there and matched the numbers to win the Platinum Lottery. It should be noted that the Platinum Prize is the biggest.
According to a Virginia Lottery spokesman, Dennis bought the ticket at a store called Seven Eleven, meaning he went to get chocolates and returned as a millionaire. It should be noted that more than 1.6 million lottery tickets were sold this month and thus the chances of a person winning a platinum prize are very low.
Lottery winners have been told that if they take the whole amount together, they can get 6 640,000 after tax deduction. This amount can be paid to them every month or year for 30 years if they want to avoid taxes. However, Dennis would like to take a lump sum after deducting taxes.
