The ICC has announced the names of the four best performers in the Men’s ODIs for the year 2021, after the Tests and T20s, including the captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam.
Apart from Babar Azam, all-rounder of Bangladesh team Shakib Al Hasan, African batsman Jane Mann Milan and Paul Sterling of Ireland have been nominated.
If we talk about Babar Azam, he played 6 ODIs during the year 2021, in which he scored 405 runs at an average of 67.50 thanks to 2 centuries.
Shakib Al Hasan played 9 matches in a year in which he scored 277 runs with the help of two half centuries and 17 wickets as a bowler.
The ICC announces awards in thirteen different categories each year for men’s and women’s players, with the first seven nominations being announced between December 28 and 31. The favorite player is given the right to vote.
The names of the winners will be announced by the Voting Academy panel in the second week of January,
