Beijing / Tokyo: Japan and China have reached an agreement under which the two countries have decided to establish an immediate online connection.
According to the International News Agency, in the talks held between the defense ministers of Japan and China, it was decided that an immediate contact line would be established between the defense officials of the two countries.
The decision was made in an online conversation between Japanese Defense Minister Kishi Nobu and Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fengi.
In a press conference after an online conversation with his Chinese counterpart, Japanese Defense Minister Kishi said that peace and stability in Taiwan is as important as life and death for Japan.
The Japanese defense minister added that the talks also informed China about the violations of these ships in Japan’s territorial waters and sought clarification from China on the contents of the new Coastal Security Act, which will come into force in 2021. ۔
On the other hand, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Feng also expressed concern over the military exercises of foreign forces along the islands known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.
