KARACHI: Leading Pakistani actresses Saba Faisal and Ashna Shah are currently shooting for a project in Belarus with renowned Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
Saba Faisal has shared a video for fans from the capital Minsk on her Instagram account in which work is underway on her upcoming project.
“Today is my first day in Belarus because you will soon see an upcoming project by a great director,” the actress shared the video.
Ashna Shah also shared a video with Anurag Kashyap, director of the film ‘Gang of Wasipur’ and wrote, “Cross-border cooperation is an honor for me and I am excited to learn a lot.” He also used the hashtag ‘Anurag Gaship’ with his post.
Unlike Saba Faisal, Ashna Shah said that this is not just a project. “I am seeking advice from Great AK (Anurag Kashyap) but that does not mean that I am part of this project,” he said. I will inform about this later.
It may be recalled that in 2018, Anurag Gaship had presented his views on banning each other’s art on the border and the political situation.
Regarding the possible filming in Pakistan, the director said, “I wish I could make a film in Pakistan. I always wanted to participate in literature festival in pakistan but my wish was never fulfilled. I have many friends who visited Pakistan and told me with what intensity they intend to visit again.
