MUMBAI: Smriti Irani, the Indian Union Minister and also the mother-in-law who once played the lead role in the daughter-in-law drama, has jokingly issued a warning to her son-in-law.
According to Indian media, 45-year-old Smriti Irani wrote on Instagram announcing the good news of her daughter Chanel’s engagement to Arjun Behla, “for the person who has our soul now”.
The BJP leader and MP shared photos on Instagram in which Arjun Behla can be seen kneeling and proposing to his daughter while in the other photo both are smiling while looking at the camera.

Addressing her son-in-law on Instagram post, Smriti Irani said that you belong to a ‘crazy family’. Maybe your frost will fall on a whimsical father-in-law and even worse than a mother-in-law like me.
Chanel’s father also wrote amusingly in support of Smriti Irani that you (Arjun) are a brave and patient person who is going to be a part of this family.
