Drinking warm milk is really good for deep sleep, research says

Washington: It is common for people to drink a hot cup of milk before going to bed. But now science has considered whether drinking milk at night really brings deep sleep.

Experts have given a mixed answer. We know that milk contains a variety of amino acids that make up important proteins. These proteins bring sleep in different ways. According to psychologists, when a mother or father offers a child a glass of lukewarm milk, they consider it psychologically an expression of parental embrace, love and comfort.

Thus milk has a psychological effect on babies. On the other hand, drinking milk also reduces the feeling of anxiety at night. Now, scientifically speaking, it contains the amino acid tryptophan. According to the US National Library of Medicine, tryptophan increases the sleep hormone melatonin.
This is how we say that drinking milk calms the body so much that drowsiness begins to occur and sleep is improved. That is why in many western countries there is a jug of milk on the dinner table.

But Chinese research shows that a glass of milk contains a small amount of tryptophan, which is insufficient to digest. But Chinese experts have also considered other chemicals in milk. They contain a long-named ingredient called ‘casein trypsin hydrolysate’ or (CTH). CTH now contains hundreds of different peptides.

Some of the peptides present in milk now affect the GABAA receptor. These receptors block the signaling process in the brain and thus slow down brain activity. When the rats were given these peptides, they fell into a deep, long sleep.

On the other hand, some experts believe that warm milk calms the stomach and thus raises the body temperature. This will help you to fall asleep.
