KARACHI: The future of a cricketer is at stake after Pakistan’s famous Test opener Abid Ali was diagnosed with heart disease.
Abid Ali was rushed to a cardiology hospital on the third day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match on the third day of the match against UBL Ground on the complaint of chest pain while batting by Sandal Punjab against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. When he was diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome, his cardiologist supervised his treatment.
Cardiologists, meanwhile, say Abid Ali has a direct diagnosis of angioplasty after angiography in case of a blocked artery in the diagnosed disease. If all three arteries are closed, either bypass is required. Û”
