Tashkent: Pakistan’s Noah Dastgir Butt defeated Indian weightlifter to qualify for Commonwealth Games.
In the Commonwealth Games Qualifying Championship in Tashkent, in the 109 kg plus category, Noah Dastgir Butt gave a brilliant performance by defeating India’s Gardeep Singh in the championship and took the second position.
Thus, Noah Dastgir Butt not only qualified for the Commonwealth Games but also became a strong candidate for the gold medal in the Games. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Syed Ali Asad Gilani watched the entire competition.
