KARACHI: Five more members of the squad, including three West Indies players, were shocked when they fell victim to corona, bringing the total number of people affected by corona in the visiting team to eight.
West Indies tour to Pakistan seemed difficult to continue, wicket-keeper and batsman Shy Hope, spinner Akeel Hussain and all-rounder Justin Graves’ coveted 19 Test results came positive, the series began to worry.
Assistant coach Rudy Eastwick and team physician Dr. Akshay Man Singh also came out positive, which caused concern.

On the other hand, a big decision is likely to come from the West Indian Cricket Board. Sources also said that the decision to continue or end the series would be taken after mutual consultation between the two boards.
All five have been excluded from the West Indies squad, are under the care and supervision provided by medical authorities, and will be kept in solitary confinement for 10 days or until negative results of PCR test.
