Talking to newborns helps them form words

Florida: When we talk to newborns at different sounds, intervals, high pitches or when they are slow, we actually convey basic language skills to the baby. With their help the child begins to learn word formation.

Matthew Mespolo, a professor at the Institute for Hearing and Communication Research at the University of Florida, says that when a parent speaks in front of a child in this way, the child’s ‘snoring or snoring’ is not merely an imitation, but a stimulus to the nerves and movement. Seem to activate the system.

Experimentally, scientists at the University of Florida heard the voices of adults and children their own age from a six- to eight-month-old baby. During this time the children adopted the same way of speaking or making noise as they normally do. The children heard the sounds they heard with their strength, length, intensity and strength.
From the first four to six months, babies have no choice but older children begin to control their voice and make meaningful sounds based on their abilities. This process then continues and the baby’s voice is formed early, until they are able to make their own voice. Then they start making simple words out of it.

That is why it is important for parents to talk to their newborns. There are many benefits to this.
