Eat yogurt daily to avoid high blood pressure, research

Adelaide: American and Australian scientists have discovered in a joint study that patients with high blood pressure, if they eat a small amount of yogurt daily, their blood pressure will remain normal.

The study, conducted on 915 adults, asked detailed questions about their daily routines, health and eating habits.

Of those who said they ate a small amount of yogurt every day, the vast majority had their blood pressure noted as normal.
In contrast, a significant number of people who do not eat yogurt have been diagnosed with high blood pressure.

It should be noted that the health benefits of yogurt have been known for thousands of years, while modern research is confirming most of them.

High blood pressure is also called the “silent killer” around the world because it can lead to various heart, artery and brain diseases for an infected person and even lead to death.

However, the authors of the study, published in the latest issue of the International Dairy Journal , say that more needs to be done to understand the benefits of yogurt in terms of blood pressure.

Medical experts say that consuming only 100 grams of low fat yogurt daily improves digestion, strengthens bones and teeth while maintaining good health in general.
