Legend Qawal Aziz Mian passed away 21 years ago

LAHORE: Presidential Award winner Aziz Mian Qawal has passed away 21 years ago.

According to the details, Aziz Mian was born on April 17, 1942 in the Indian city of Delhi. He is considered one of the most popular verses in Pakistan. Aziz Mian, the owner of a terrifying and powerful voice, was not only a great poet but also a great philosopher who often wrote poetry for himself. His real name was Abdul Aziz. “Mian” was his motto, which he often used in his verses, which later became part of his name.
The government of Pakistan also awarded him the Presidential Award for Excellence in 1989. Aziz Mian passed away on December 6, 2000 in Tehran due to jaundice but his lyrics are still alive in the hearts of fans.
