Lahore: Boxer Muhammad Waseem has announced his representation of Pakistan in the Paris Olympics.
Talking to the media on the finals of the DHA Boxing Championship in Lahore, Muhammad Waseem, who has won world titles in professional boxing, said that in order to participate in amateur boxing from the professional, professional fight would have to be suspended for three months. The federation has agreed to represent Pakistan. The Paris Olympics will be held in 2014. Therefore, after participating, I will be able to play in professional competitions again.
Muhammad Waseem said that he was planning to set up an academy for the training of amateur boxers in Lahore. He was happy to see the quality of boxers in the National Boxing Championship.
