Lahore: Cricket festival has been announced, schedule of PSL 7 has been released, the event will start from January 27 in Karachi.
Defending champions Multan Sultans and hosts Karachi Kings will play in the opening match. Action will start in Lahore after the completion of 15 matches in Quaid-e-Azam city on February 7. Gaddafi Stadium will host 19 matches including the final on February 27. The second will start at 2 pm and the second at 7 pm. All teams will have equal opportunities to play in daylight and artificial light. Drafting of players will take place on December 12 at 3 pm at High Performance Center, Lahore. A further 8 cricketers will be allowed to be retained.
The transfer and retention window has been opened. The first pick in Platinum category will be Lahore Qalandars, the second Multan Sultans, the third Islamabad United, the fourth Islamabad United, the fifth Peshawar Zalmai and the sixth Quetta Gladiators. Mohammad Rizwan has been included in Platinum, Sohaib Maqsood and Haider Ali in Diamond category. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez have been relegated to Diamond category after demotion. The board will expedite administrative matters to provide the best facilities to the players.
The influx of international cricketers and teams will continue throughout the year. According to the details, the PCB has announced the final schedule of PSL 7. 19 matches will be played in Lahore, competitions will be completed on February 7 in Shar-e-Quaid.
The matches will start on February 10 in Lahore. The inaugural match of the league will be played between defending champions Multan Sultans and hosts Karachi Kings.
