Pakistan’s first wicket fell at 59 when Abdullah Shafiq scored 25 and was bowled by Tej-ul-Islam. The second wicket of Green Shirts fell at 70 runs. Abid Ali scored 39 runs and was bowled by Tej-ul-Islam.
Tejul Islam, who took 8 wickets in the first Test, dismissed both the openers. On the lunch break on the first day of the Dhaka Test, Pakistan scored 78 runs for the loss of two wickets. The first day’s play was called off early due to bad lighting. Pakistan scored 161 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Babar Azam (60) and Azhar Ali (36) are not out.

Earlier, Babar Azam had said that the wicket looked favorable for batting. No changes have been made in the Pakistan team for the second Test and the team for the first Test has been retained. Efforts will be made to make a good total on the scoreboard.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has returned to the Bangladesh team. The Bangladesh captain said that they will try to level the series by winning the second Test.
