New York : A gunman has been arrested outside the United Nations headquarters.
According to US media, a gunman was arrested and a shotgun was found in front of the UN headquarters in New York. A bag and documents were also recovered from the gunman.
The gunman was at the UN main gate. The gunman saw the policeman and placed the gun under his chin but did not fire.
Police added that the gunman said in a preliminary investigation that he wanted to hand over some documents to the UN office. Police say the incident will be investigated thoroughly.
