Mumbai: Self-styled critic of Indian films Kamal Rashid Khan has revealed that Ranveer Singh paid Rs 200 million for his debut in Bollywood.
Indian film critic Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) has been in the news for his statements on his YouTube channel and controversial tweets about other actors, although he has faced difficulties several times due to his statements. However, he did not give up and this time he messed with Yash Raj Films.
The self-styled critic on his YouTube channel criticized the script of Yash Raj Banners’ film ‘Bunty Aur Bubbly Two’ in which Rani Mukherjee, wife of director Aditya Chopra and younger Nawab Saif Ali Khan showed the essence of acting while through the film Actress Sharwari was launched and Sadhana Chatterjee was also cast in the lead role.
KRK said in its statement that whenever Aditya Chopra launched someone, it started off as the worst but most people say that he even launched Ranveer Singh who is a successful actor. But I would like to tell Ranveer’s fans that Ranveer Singh was not found by Aditya but Ranveer’s father himself gave Rs 200 million to Aditya to give him a chance in Bollywood.
It is to be noted that Ranveer Singh made his debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj Films ‘Band Baja Barat’ in which his rival actress Anushka Sharma played the lead role for which Ranveer Singh was also given Filmfare Award.
