Aryan Khan’s bail plea rejected once again

Mumbai: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail application was once again rejected.

Mumbai’s Sessions Court has once again rejected the bail pleas of Aryan Khan and other accused Arbaaz Merchant and Manman Dhamicha, who were arrested in a drug case.

According to Indian media, the Sessions Court had reserved judgment on Aryan Khan’s bail application in a hearing on October 14. Which was announced in the hearing to be held this afternoon.

Aryan Khan, arrested in a cruise drugs party case, has been in jail for the past 18 days. The NDPS special court has further extended Aryan’s custody, after which Aryan will remain in Arthur Road Jail. The court will issue a detailed decision on the petition soon.

After Aryan Khan’s bail application was rejected by the Mumbai Sessions Court, his lawyer will approach the Bombay High Court.

Why was Aryan arrested?

The Narcotics Control Bureau raided a ship bound for Goa from Mumbai on October 2 and recovered drugs. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was also present on the plane and was arrested on October 3, the day after the raid. Aryan Khan is currently lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail.

The NCB has so far arrested 20 people, including 18 men and two women, in the cruise party drug case. All the arrested accused have been kept in separate barracks from other prisoners.
