Mumbai: Bollywood’s Salu Mian’s father and well-known scriptwriter Saleem Khan has advised Big B to quit his job and retire.
Bollywood kingpin Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 79th birthday yesterday. On this occasion, Saleem Khan has advised him that Big B has done a lot of work and now he should retire and stay at home.
In an interview to Indian news agency Denik Bhaskar, Saleem Khan said that Amitabh Bachchan should retire now. They have achieved everything they should have done in their lives. Now they must give themselves a few years of life. Amitabh Bachchan played a brilliant innings professionally. He did a great job so now he should get out of this race and retire.
According to Saleem Khan, a person reads and learns in his life and then he takes the responsibility of his family, so he should spend some years of his life for himself.
“For example, my world is limited now,” said Saleem Khan. Not all the people I go for a walk with belong to the film world.
Saleem Khan further said that Amitabh Bachchan was a hero who played the role of Angry Young Man well, he is still there. However, there are no stories for actors like Amitabh now. Our films have improved technically. In addition, the music and action have improved, but we do not have good scripts.
It should be noted that Saleem Khan and Big B have worked together in many super hit projects including “Zanjeer”, “Sholay”, “Dawn”, “Trishul”, “Kala Pathar”. Many films are included, including “Friendly”. Amitabh Bachchan has been ruling Bollywood for the last 5 decades.
