Texas: A US Navy fighter jet crashed into a residential area in Lake Worth, Texas, destroying three homes, but the pilots jumped out of the plane to save their lives.
According to the International News Agency, the US Navy fighter jet “T45 Goshak” on a training mission flew from Corpus Christi International Airport. The plane had a flying instructor and two trained pilots.
During the flight, the plane malfunctioned due to unknown reasons and the fighter jet crashed into houses in a residential area of Lake Worth, destroying 3 houses.
Instructors and trainee pilots jumped to save their lives before the plane crashed. The instructors landed safely but both the trainee pilots were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
US media have claimed that 3 civilians were injured at the place where the plane crashed but their condition is being reported out of danger. An inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the accident.
