Quetta Gladiators Out Of Psl

Abu Dhabi: In PSL 6, Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators by 110 runs after which Quetta is out of the event.

In the ongoing Pakistan Super League match in Abu Dhabi, Multan Sultans batted first and scored 183 runs in the allotted 20 overs in response to which the entire team of Quetta Gladiators was bowled out for 73 runs.

Jack Wetherlad (19) and Usman Khan (12) were all dismissed by Quetta Gladiators while Cameron Delport returned to the pavilion without opening an account. Azam Khan was also a guest for 2 runs and captain Sarfraz Ahmed’s innings were limited to 13 runs.

Hassan Khan and Khurram Shehzad were dismissed without opening an account. Muhammad Nawaz was dismissed for 10 runs. From Multan Sultans Imran Tahir 3, Imran Khan 2 Blessing Mazarabani, Sohail Tanveer took one wicket each.

Earlier, Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat. Mohammad Rizwan and Shaun Masood gave the team an aggressive start, Rizwan was dismissed for 21, Sohaib Maqsood for 5 and Riley Rousseau for 2.

Shaun Masood played aggressive innings of 73 off 42 balls which included 4 sixes and 7 fours. Johnson Charles also played aggressive innings of 47 off 24 balls. Khushdal Shah remained unbeaten on 21 runs.

For Quetta Gladiators, Khurram Shehzad took two wickets, while Muhammad Nawaz, Hassan Khan and Zahir Khan took one wicket each.
